A poster named Tom(nofacts)door constantly posts his Fox News right wing mantra and Trump support. Yet also dedicates his upper middle class retirement to his union railroad engineer job. This is worse than a SCAB to put it in language that he will understand.

  • Should Thom refer to DT as King Donald?   8 years 3 weeks ago

Mr. Trump could be called Dictator Trump if he takes it too far. Until then being respectful in a limited way might be the best approach. I will never call him P---; he will be Mr. to me.

Never call him king, since often it is believed a king is preordained. No one wants Mr. T to believe that he was destine to be king--oops I mean president.

    Mr Hartmann

Still peddling FAKE news and propaganda??

Trump did NOT hang up on Australian PM...that's fake news.

    Even the BBC knows that.

Astonishing you've become a shill for the CIA and MSM.

And here I thought that conservatives were fighting for less government interference with businesses. Trump was right when he said that I would get tired of winning all the time... Well, I'm there. Please stop fighting for me.

Is it better to have a job at a low wage, or no job and collect unemployement?

Obviously the voters in 27 states support the former view.

Face it: America as we knew it is broken. The foxes guard the henhouse and our ill-informed and factually challanged citizens keep returning these crooks to office. A strike to support unions--think bigger: http://www.globalstrikeforworldpeace.org

totally agree. We need a labor week of no work and marches and solidarity.

Ya know Mr. Ed, If your hatred wasn't so great toward your President Trump being in office I might feel sorry for you, but the image of you with your thesaurus looking up hate words just to make you appear smarter than you are is just adding to conservatives delight. Please don't stop for at least eight more years. Your gifts just keep on coming. First place is leftie radio talking heads push out their hate radio in sputtering and stammering voices followed by yours and a few others posts.

Thank you for making my day and understanding if Hillary & Bill Clinton had been allowed anywhere near the White House following the election I would have retired to my safe space following my brief wave of looting and burning just because it is the fair thing to do.

My "stick it to the man" sign is safely retired intil 2024.

It's a bit difficult to decode what Congress has for a Medical Plan...e.g. preexisting etc...and what happens to them if Obamacare is repealed.

Usually, I'd say, Whatever they get I want. I'll hold off on that until I know what they have.

In the interim...I say 'go ahead and repeal Obamacare', however, it should revert to Medicare for all until they come up with a solid plan of their own.

He should be refered to as the Republican president they need to be forced to own what he does to our country.

McClintock is from CALIFORNIA! He helped me with a horrible Veteran's Administration case. As a veteran, I have to jump through many hoops to get medical care. I've lost weight, eat my veggies, etc. and am careful to support medical care for people who are just out there blowing in the wind. I have friends in their 50's who are doing everything to stay healthy. And then we have an under class who smoke, eat junk and get tats before they would dream of dental check-ups. At 50 they are elderly. I worked all my life and get such a bountiful Social Security check that I'm too wealthy for Medi-Cal (medic-aid). Lots of good ideas here. God help us!

I hope that when they deliver something/anything that there will be a watchdog committee of some kind to study the product and cite how much of what is delivered is a direct copy of the language in the ACA. It's the best way to show the lack of creativity and understanding on the right. They are disingenuous at best and generally evil.

    YUUGE DYSFUNCTION {a 2-verse limerick}

    Trump is a yuuge dysfunction:

Bad character, strange brains in conjunction

with a persona of guile, -

    - yet a talking style

    which stimulates his fan-club’s unction.

    … … …

And his management style is chaotic,

    his negotiating gambits quixotic.

    Despotically psychotic

    and overall idiotic,

    Trump makes our nation neurotic.

Trump and his minions have to dismantle Obama Care because it was passed by that icky black man in the White House. They have to do that because they promised to remove all vestiges of an Obama administration that was causing such suffering and degradation in this great nation of ours.

The problem is that anything that provides the same benefits as Obama Care to the same people that Obama Care is serving right now (me, for instance) is going to look exactly like Obama Care and we can't have that. Or at least we can't admit it. In this new Post-Factual era of ours, though, I don't see why we can't just leave it exactly as it is, rename it Trump-Surance or something and pretend that it was a rich white guy's idea all along.

  • GOP Is "Freaking Out" About ObamaCare   8 years 3 weeks ago

As bad as all of this is, and is going to get, I'm glad of it. The Republicans, forever, have been telling us how much better it is to have businessmen running this country. Now we get to see their bungling in real time. I don't know how we are going to get through four years of this, but if people don't recognize that America will be flat on her face down in the mud, then nothing will reach these lost minds. As for Republicon promises of health something, I'm with matt carmody (above).

  • GOP Is "Freaking Out" About ObamaCare   8 years 3 weeks ago

It's really a golden opportunity for Republicans. All they have to do is to push through Single Payer and they'll be in office for at least the next two decades. If they screw it up, their days are numbered.

  • The “Shock & Awe" Strategy   8 years 3 weeks ago

Sadly! Americans always assasinate the best of their leaders

Those that remain always cause havoc and pain

The real issue in there is this -

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

  • Should Thom refer to DT as King Donald?   8 years 3 weeks ago

Elle, I think your comment is well thought out & I agree. Taking his name out of the equation would actually be a wonderful way of irritating him! Just imagine, if even for only one day, no-one spoke or wrote his name. He'd go bonkers! (-:

  • Should Thom refer to DT as King Donald?   8 years 3 weeks ago

I can not stomach the man....neither his smugness nor his values. I think "boy" would be apropos, given his emotional maturity level. I think he has a messiah complex as well as having grandiose ideas about his abilities ("I'm going to fix the world, that's what I do...") I actually call him by many different derogatory names in my own head & in the company of friends, but.....spreading more hate on top of what is already hateful, isn't helping. More fuel for the fire analogy. If we really want to make change, we must BE that change (paraphrasing Ghandi.) DT is not my President, as I feel there was a lot of unethical stuff going on that affected the election, but he is nonetheless POTUS (for now.) So, I agree with those who say do not bring yourself down to a lower level. Take the high road & represent the values of which you speak. I think Mr Trump or Donald Trump would be fine. In private though, let loose to get it out of your system (if need be!) I will! We're only human, afterall!
