This is simply today's episode of a serial that began with the election, spinning from the predictable "Trump stole the election!" to "Russia stole the election!" within days.
What is known is that there was a high-level meeting between US and Russian officials regarding a mutual plan to deal with ISIS. This was not a public meeting, transcripts weren't released to the public, and we don't actually know what was discussed. Such meetings, however, have long been regarded as "the norm."
It's always wise to get enough facts before forming your conclusions. What we have at this point is a media that have gone into overdrive to connect dots and fill in blanks without the necessary facts. We should have learned something from the example of Bush's tales about Iraq's "stockpiles of WMD."

Methinks stopgap and 2950-10K are right: it's the plague of Bush/Trump's Foxmerized voters who are the true blight on the land, even more than the gilded scions who feed the faithful the content of their bowels.
Since this is a new age of plunder by the overlords, we lowly swabbers need to think like pirates. 63 million bottom-feeders tis lots of worthless landlubbers but still a fraction of the 220 million eligible Jack Tars who did not vote for this crew of scurvy dogs.

In an attempt to gain popular support Trump will do something desperate and extremely dangerous very soon. Israel wants Trump to bomb Iran, but a Korea hit, nuke an ISIS stronghold are both possible too? Who knows?
Putin only wants the oil deal with Tillerson's Exxon....other than that he's happy as hell that he ffdd our country up. He knows Trump is a complete fool.
This was all so predictable...we all saw it coming. Why the vast majority didn't demand the election be declared invalid I'll never know. We had our chance to stop this madness. Crooked Donny committed treason to become president...that makes Pence invalid too. "We the People" need to demand a new election.
What do you think the Teapublicans would be doing right now if the shoe were on the other foot? ..seriously!
Why is there silence about the Assad's crematorium activity? Didn't we learn anything from the last century? Putin supports Assad and Trump loves Putin, need I say more.

I have to agree strongly with joebhed and especially last night's post by hephaestus, that being that there is a grand plan involving Pence replacing Trump. You may recall the mortification displayed by the Republican establishment when it became clear that Trump would be their nominee. But the bastards are very crafty and light on their feet. With a Pence in the wings, they stand to gain tremendous ground by letting Trump self destruct, and then, acting out this kabuki theater of regretfully rescuing the nation from its grievous error, installing yet another mindless ideologue in the Oval Office. One who is even now being portrayed as very “presidential”. One who will carry out the most draconian agenda of the far right more effectively than Trumple Thinskin ever could, because Pence, at least, has an IQ of over 85 and can presumably follow orders and stay on script. But as joebhed notes, time is of the essence. If we can just keep Trump in place until we approach the midterms, there is a slim chance that things will improve in the legislative branch. This assuming the earth doesn't become a charred and lifeless rock in the interim.
If the obstruction of justice charge can be substantiated, it will happen.

We need for him to be dangling in the wind between repugs and Drumpf voters until we get the House and/or Senate back.
It is NOT POSSIBLE for Drumpf to accomplish ANYTHING given his sanctimonious relationship with the rest of th world.
We NEED to keep this BUFFOON in the Oval Office as long as possible.
We don't want a pres Pence and his even-worse veep running the next election cycle machinery from the Bully pulpit.
We HAVE the best BULLY in the pulpit right now.

The only thin thread of hope is that each passing day reveals to every eligible voter just how dishonest, corrupt, and immoral Republicans actually are -- not just in theory -- and how important it is to vote them out of power in 2018 and 2020. Sadly, Legend's prediction of [even more] war is most probable.
While my confidence in this has been diminished a bit over recent days, my current position is that Trump will win re-election in 2020. I have no confidence whatsoever in the ability of the Democratic Party to pull itself out of the clutches of Wall-Street and capitalist interests and offer an alternative to this slide toward fascism.
I would love to see him impeached, but I don't have confidence that this will happen. We have a Republican congress who has no history of putting Country before party. They will keep him in office as long as possible, with Mike Pence as their fall-back. Pence will still push the same horrible policies as Trump, but at least he will not be a loose cannon.

The only fake news debunked is the "stupid" drooling out of your lie hole. Long sigh, face palm, head shake ...alas, you are forgiven. Living in a constant state of denial and endlessly repeating yourself are sure signs of advancing senility. FYI: Medicare subsidizes support groups that can help you cope.

Repubs will not put country ahead of Party. This is their chance to serve their supporters, the 1%. Until every tax cut for the 1% and medicare and Social Security cuts are done, they will continue supporting this Fascist Regime. They also need a war to lock in 2020.
Does the 25th amendment include those that voted for Trump? I actually blame them more than Trump. It's not like anyone with a brain, eyes and ears could not know who this man was and what he is. No doubt, these were many of the same people that voted for Bush. They seem to have an obsession for shoving their heads up some lying authoritarian-oligarch's ass and gobbling up all the shit that comes down and then regurgitating it, as if it it's the truth, etched in stone.
Realistically, there is very little difference between Bush and Trump. Bush was just smart enough to allow himself to be handled by experienced corrupt politians, at least presenting an iota of credibility.

Trump and his family are members of the Russian Oligarchy and have been for decades for chrissake! Tell me again what we expected?
As bad as Trump IS, Pence would be even worse. Why? Because Pence knows what he's doing, and is far better at the game of politics than Trump could ever dream of being.
So, impeach Trump, shoot Pence.
