Trump represents the party of free trade, and not by accident! You won't see Crooked Donny smacking down little Pauly Ryan regarding the TPP...ain't gonna happen. Until Democrats start speaking out like this during the tiny amount of time they get on shows like Meet the Fascist's, we're doomed to have sand kicked in our faces right on through to Crooked Donny's/Mattis nuclear carpet bombing of ISIS...then it's game over anyway.
Why is asshole Trump making deals. he is not president yet and will never be president if the vote counting in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and other states is allowed to continue.

Trump never intended anything - except to get elected. He continuously promised to slap a 35% tax on Carrier et al and that in and of itself would be the great equalizer. Companies would not leave becasue they couldn't sell back here in the US without a large tariff being added to their product. Frankly, not a bad idea. But - he didn't do anything even remotely like that. He did exactly what he had been raling about on the campaign trail. He bribed the company to stay with the taxpayer's money. And guess what, not a single member of the tradional media called him on this. This was a "win" for Trump. Bull. This is nothing but smoke and mirrors. He's a con artist through and through. Indianna voters just got fleeced for $7 million.
..., are you telling me the real people of the American heartland are willing to build their dreams on lies ...? If nothing more, this process will reveal and expose every one of us for who we are - in truth - whatever the outcome.

Yeah, and this is the kind of deal he'll be making with Russia and China and Mexico and the EU and whoever else. It may be hard to tell whether Trump got fleeced because the people he was dealing with were so much smarter than him or if he knew all along that the lousy deal he made was just for show. In the end we know for sure who gets fleeced: us.

"Democracy is dead" is admittedly a bit of hyperbole but the larger point is that we need to face the fact that the Republicans have so badly corrupted our electoral process that we need to come up with other (non-violent) ways forward.
One way forward might be for political parties - in addition to organizing for electoral success insofar as that is possible - to add to their mission to directly supply services to their constituents without first attaining state power. This of course would be on a much smaller scale than the state could provide but it would address real needs and generate loyalty and give people reason to participate beyond abstract affinity with ideology. I envision a network of member-worker owned inter-locking businesses, providing banking, insurance, health, education and other products and services, all tied together with a common political objective, creating a form of socialism independent of the state.
The problem with IRV is that it still leaves the losers disenfranchised. I propose a simple form of proportional representation: everybody who runs and garners some proportion of the vote above some arbitrary threshold - say 5% - wins a seat in the legislature and has a vote equal to the votes cast for them.
Of course, fat chance of getting that or anything like it. US democracy is dead.

Trump is against free speech but that is another reason to oppose him--but not by trying to deny him speech. I doubt Twitter will. But we have to hope that the government, under the radicalized GOP and Trump, do not succeed in denying free speech to us.
President Elect Trump spent 7 million dollars in Indiana and kept a little over a thousand jobs at Carrier. 1000 families in Indiana who pay taxes, buy groceries, clothes, cars, etc. will have a prosperous future, and jobs for as long as they want. Economic activity up and down the economic chain will remain active.
Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton are spending 7 millon dollars in Wisconsin to recount the votes. The net effect of the spending will be temporary jobs for some for 12 days. No change will take place in the election results. What will result however, is Stein and Clinton will "piss off" a lot of Democrats and Republicans not only in Wisconsin, but Michigan and Pennsylvania too. They are implying these people are cheats or are too stupid to count votes.
Trump sycophants are pickled in absolute lies and "half-truths" from the top of the barrel to the bottom. Every thought that bubbles up and escapes into their blogosphere is formulated from a thick brine of utter nonsense.
ie: His "followers" only make up 1/4 of eligible voters and 2.3 million less than half of actual voters -- hardly a "nationwide landslide election."
The only tactic "in order" is to counteract each and every lie with the simple truth.
I think the average working, tax paying American is very pleased with Trumps picks so far. Trumps thank you Ohio speech was very well received by his followers.
Resist, stammer, complain, and make up excuses, but after the nationwide landslide election, other tactics may be in order.

I'm beginning to see how it is that people define reality in terms of good and evil ... I simply am amazed at how things get turned around - how easily people are led (and misled) by blind fear, mostly ... ambitions, and appetites out of control ... what can influence these things?

The fox and his coharts are going to be running the henhouse for 4 years. This is going to be a bad ride for all of us, and women are going to suffer the most. Just look at the funeral restrictions women who want/need abortions are going to have to pay for AND burial costs, to boot!... You all voted him him, so put your privates in a chastity belt or you'll be paying for the next 18 years.
In the recent years, we have noticed several kinds of changes in the business policy. People with lower income are getting suitable opportunities to get profits; therefore government and other non-profitable organizations are taking beneficial steps to repair the current business environment in the United States of America. It promotes business and creates a good opportunity for people ahead of corporate profits; so, we hope in near future also people are getting equal chance to develop their ventures.
