The USA is full of what I call Trailer Park Republicans. They work hard, live in near poverty and staunchly defend billionaire rights to wealth beyond their imagination. They are the ones that support loopholes, overseas accounts, carried interests, real estate tax deductions etc. by voting Republican. Yet, they qualify for none. They are the ones that voted for Trump without seeing his taxes (which he probably paid zero, like his son in law). They are the ones that think Mexico is paying for the wall. They are the ones that after 13000 documented lies still believe everything that he says.

Like it or not, President Trump's tenacious attitude for doing what ever he wants and repeatedly defying his own party's wishes are exactly the personality traits a President would need to bring about good changes. If only his efforts could be redirected.

Actually, the Cheney/Bush administration improved, if you will, on the concept of the “big lie” when they instituted a new concept: if you lie about everything, then the people will think, “well they can’t be lying about everything.” But, of course, they did lie about everything! Interesting discussion. My colegues from letter writing services and I recently had nearly the same topic to discuss and we realized that there is really difficult to find out who is right and who is wrong. There are too many pros and cons, so the truth will out anyway but maybe later.
