Nov. 11, 2009 4:57 amBy SueNThom: Ok, here’s the bottom line. Let me just lay this out as simply as I can. It is not rocket science. It is something that Americans have been living with, and surviving, tolerating, for a long time now, in the United States, and in large part because they didn’t realize. Most Americans don’t realize how it’s done in the rest of the world. Only three percent of Americans have passports. Only about one percent of Americans travel internationally, and most Americans just… And our news is just incredibly Amero-centric, it doesn’t show what’s going on in the rest of the world.

Transcript: Thom's Corporate Personhood rant, 09 September 2009
Oct. 8, 2009 3:10 pmBy SueNOkay, let me just lay this out. Back in 1885, January 26th, 1885, Delphin Delmas was the lawyer who had been hired by the county of Santa Clara to argue this case before the Supreme Court. Santa Clara County vs. Southern Pacific Railroad. Prior to that, he had for free on behalf of the county, argued a case which actually led to the saving of the redwoods. There literally would be no redwoods left in the United States were it not for Delphin Delmas, this lawyer. An amazing man.

Max Baucus, the wholly-owned appendage of the health insurance industry, apparently has a piece of legislation that is going to be coming out of the Senate Finance Committee. And according to Robert Gibbs, the folks on K Street saw it before the White House did. What a surprise! I would suggest probably the folks on K Street wrote it. In any case there’s a Supreme Court case coming up, Citizens United vs.

Oct. 4, 2009 7:40 amBy SueNI want to talk about swine flu because my email load is starting to explode with this. In large part it’s my right wing email load. I’m also, you know, I’m on multiple email lists and you know I’ve got a giant pile of right wing email every day as well as the left wing or liberal email. I would say the average American email. But without getting into that debate.
