You know, the whole idea of a dollar in the first place was so that if you and I have a deal that I'm going to wash your car if you'll mow my lawn, that we can do it in a way that rather simply the barter, let's just value them both at ten bucks, and if one day I don't wash your car but you mow my lawn, you get ten dollars and you can go out and buy a sandwich.
