I do not know if companies broadcast this. Usually done when in this economy both work and have healthcare benefits. One is better than 2. One gets the Opt Out and the other covers. This is an accepted norm. My son in law and daughter do it. You can research it as much as you want. Perhaps you need a good conversation with your HR department.
Every company that I worked for let you know the amount that they were paying. Many companies will give you money if you do not use (opt out) of their medical benefits. They will not give you the full amount because they get to deduct what they pay where you do not. But from experience a medical plan that covers you and your spouse is worth more than $1200 per month. So you are paying $200 and they are paying $1000+. You have an excellent plan as most companies pay 2/3 and the employee 1/3. That is if you are being honest. #9 is just babbeling again.
You really need to finish middle school. I've told you before, I pay $200.00 / pay...twice a month for health care for me and my spouse. I have no idea what amount the board pays for their share. If I opted out of the program, my salary would increase $200.00 / pay. I would not receive the Boards contribution to health care.
I checked with some people here, if you are willing to move to our county and pay taxes, we would be willing to help you finish middle school and continue on to High School. Let us help you, a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Interesting to hear you say that because leftie/socialists NEVER talk about the hidden numbers and the thought process that goes into an employer compensating an employee. In leftie world that part of the equation is a forbidden topic.
Now, if I can only get you to stop constantly fretting about other peoples money and understand the fact that CORPORATIONS DO NOT PAY TAXES, their customers do, I may be on the road to converting you to becoming a Republican.
We had had this posting before. OU812 thinks that because her/his school pays for part of the health Insurance that it is free. He/she will not admit to what he/she pays or what the school pays. A lot of Americans think this way. Because what they pay is deducted off of their check. They do not have the money in hand. It is when you start paying out of pocket that you realize what it actually is costing you. They also think that they are getting it cheaper than the average person can go buy it and they are not.
If Franken stays, it completely removes the possibility of any democrat ever calling for the resignation of any Republican from office on sexual harassment issues.
The Republican Party is fast becoming an unpopular brand, largely because its core constituency is a dying breed of out-of-touch, old, rich, white guys brainwashed by wall-to-wall corporate programming blaring nonstop from their last-century media devices: TV and radio. So naturally, their desperate fascist leaders are scrambling to catch up with the times, which to them means -- of COOOURSE! -- to infect the internet with the same propaganda techniques that had won them so much wealth and power back in the glory days of the analog world.
“See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the [varnished] truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda.” --George W. Bush, the "decider."
Most of the other demographics, especially the young and educated, are migrating to the Democratic Party.
Come the midterms, they should remember: which party is trying to take away their healthcare; which party is deregulating industries to poison our air, land, water, and food; which party ensures low wages and low benefits; which party is telling Wall Street banksters that it's okay again to rip off consumers; which party is lavishing tax cuts on the rich by taking it out of the hide of middle-class workers and the poor and by exploding the deficit, impoverishing future generations of workers who must pay it back; which party is trying to turn the internet into a private cash cow for their wealthy donors and a loudspeaker for their endless lies.
In other words, which one is the party of super-rich predators and which one is the party of everyone else, their prey?
Undoubtedly greed plays a large role in the gutting of net neutrality, but don't underestimate control of the message motives. Just ask Rupert Murdoch, he has the best of both worlds with his Foxaganda...huge profit from a relentless evil message.
The vast majority of the younger generation has distanced itself from the Kochpublican Party and most young people I know don't watch network news or listen to right-wing radio. The Fascists know this and want to shut off the only remaining hole in their attempt to propagandize the populous. That would be social media. Welcome to a Fascist State.
I wonder how far the end of net neutrality will drop us down the freedom of the press list...currently 47th in the world and now perhaps all the way down to where Russia is ranked..148 out of 180 total nations...yep right down there with Crooked Donny's pal.
Kiss the First Amendment goodbye! The CDC surely knows what time it is...1930's Germany.
I don't have Obama Care, me and another 157 million American families have health insurance through our employers......I know it goes against all you washed up lefties believe, but the NY Times (a left leaning paper) says 75% of the country will benefit from the new tax law. So if those 75% vote republican.....well, it will be a Democrat blood bath....it's a good thing you guys are use to losing :))
deepspace: I'm struggling extremely hard to even talk with Republican friends and family. I even declared a personal war on X-mas because of the rightie god and guns hypocrisy, but after soul searching recently, I've backed off...felt too much like Scrooge.
BTW: I was having a few beers with friends at a local pub last night and given the content of conversation, you'd have thought it was 1773 Boston Pub ...The Kochbaggers are in big trouble. So keep the faith!
That is because he has been such an idiot jerk. He made tons of promises when campaigning. You bought it. Now he cannot come through. Plus he is selling the likes of Roy Moore and a tax cut for billionaires. Not to mention obvious ties to Russia. Of course it generates negative publicity. Doing the job is more scrutanized than campaigning where they can promise the world of roses. Going back to 2009:

If we aren't going to have an open war on Reaganomics, then there is no reason to have any hope.
Could this be the last seed to be planted by the GOP that will grow into a REVOLUTION in the USA? Makes one wonder does it not?
Just how much burden is the Average American suppose to take before they say enough?
@11 Legend.
Please provide the names of companies who will pay you for opting out of medical insurance. I don't know of any who do

Must have not given enough tax cuts to the 1%.

Good Luck with selling all that you troll. The 75% of Americans who receive a tax break will remember who gave it too them.

And the tax cut bill has a clause that benefits real estate moguls like Trump and Corker added.
