With that in mind one specific example of the increase in disposable income not being good for workers is the Walmart(?) numbers Thom mentioned. For every $10 benefit the tax scam gave to Walmart, the worker received $0.09. It seems to me that would increase economic inequality.

On a different note, how stupid does one have to be to send child porn through e-mail? If I were to send child porn, or the launch codes for every nuclear missile on the planet, through e-mail, I would first encrypt the files using my own encryption program. (At some point, the receipiant would have received the decryption program)

There is no mention of Donald Gregg at all.
However, the article does state that David Stockman did admit that "he had access to a 'pilfered' copy of Carter's briefing book."
The Wikipedia article also states thet "James Baker swore under oath that he had received the briefing book from William Casey, Reagan's campaign manager."
The article uses quotes from the 1983 book: "Gambling With History: Reagan in the White House" by Laurence Barrett
It also quotes Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill who said "the debate ultimately did not affect the outcome of the election, arguing that an unpopular Carter would have lost even if he had been seen to 'win' the debate."......(in my opinion, Tip O'Neill was wrong...It DID affect the outcome of the election).
The Wikipedia article mentioned that in 2004 and 2005, Jimmy Carter accused George Will of "giving the briefing book to the Reagan campaign."
Carter later retracted this allegation against George Will.
It wasn't George Will who "gave the briefing book to the Reagan campaign" - it was White House CIA officer Donald Gregg, who waited until Carter was out of town, then stole the top secret briefing book and copied it.
Finally, the Wikipedia article mentions that Reagan biographer Craig Shirley wrote that "the briefing papers were passed to Casey by Paul Corbin, an aide from Ted Kennedy's failed primary campaign."
This is completely untrue......How could "an aide from Ted Kennedy's failed primary campaign" gain access to Jimmy Carter's private Top secret personal papers within the White House...Did Paul Corbin work at the White House in October, 1980?
Donald Gregg stole the briefing book and gave it to Casey who gave it to George Will, who used it to "coach" Ronald Reagan before the second debate.
If Ronald Reagan had floundered and fumbled his way through that second debate, (the way he did during the first debate), Jimmy Carter might well have defeated him.
The facts about "Debate-gate" are out there, and i only cite the flawed Wikipedia article because it was easy to get to, and a good place to go to get some basic facts about this illegal, sordid, treachery on the part of William Casey, Ronald Reagan, Donald Gregg, George Will and other Reagan co-conspirators who were involved in this scandal.

1) Thom said that Ronald Reagan & Jimmy Carter had only one debate in 1980. Actually, Carter & Reagan had TWO debates that year. - Carter clearly won the first debate, Reagan looked clueless without a teleprompter in front of him, and hemmed & hawed throughout that debate
2) Thom said that "someone..we don't know who, got hold of Carter's notes" (for the upcoming 2nd debate), so Reagan knew what Carter was going to say in that debate, and did much better that he did in the 1st debate. Well, the fact is we DO know "who it was who got hold of Carter's notes" (for the 2nd debate).
William Casey, Reagan's campaign manager, arranged for White House CIA official DONALD GREGG to make a copy of Carter's briefing papers for the 2nd debate while Carter was out of town. Donald Gregg copied the briefing papers, gave them to Casey, who then enlisted George Will to "coach" Reagan.
Reagan, by using the stolen Carter briefing papers, KNEW IN ADVANCE what Carter was going to say. Because of this treasonous action, Reagan "won" that 2nd debate, and went on to defeat Carter a couple of weeks later in a very close election...("Well, there you go again")
Donald Gregg, William Casey, George Will and other Reagan staffers should have been charged with "Conspiracy to Commit Treason," because stealing top secret papers from the White House amounts to treason...doesn't it?
This scandal is referred to as "Debate-Gate"

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortex was roundly criticized on social media yesterday for supposedly botching a question about Israeli-Palestine relations during an interview with Firing Line's Margaret Hoover. But Ocasio-Cortez's admission that she was "no expert on geopolitics" was much more satisfactory than her answer to a question about the unemployment rate, which she claimed was low merely "because everyone has two jobs."
This is wrong for two reasons. First, people working multiple jobs has no distorting effect on the unemployment rate, which is calculated by taking the number of unemployed people and dividing it by the number of people in the labor force. The raw number of jobs being worked by Americans has no bearing on these numbers.
Second, everyone does not have two jobs. As Bloomberg View's Noah Smith points out, only about 5 percent of workers are moonlighting. This rate has actually dropped slightly over the last three decades.Ocasio-Cortez continued: "Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week, and can barely feed their kids." Again, the number of overtime hours Americans are working has no impact on the unemployment rate.
Ocasio-Cortez blames profit-seeking "no-holds-barred capitalism" for the conditions in which people struggle to feed their kids. Hunger and poverty are indeed problems faced by millions of Americans—14 percent of U.S. householdsexperience food insecurity. Under capitalism, though, world poverty has declined precipitously. Over the past few decades, the economic growth that global trade has brought to developing economies has helped lift a billion people out of poverty. Between 2001 and 2011, some 700 million people exited from extreme poverty worldwide.
"Capitalism has not always existed in the world and it will not always exist in the world," said Ocasio-Cortez. But the scale of human suffering was inarguably greater in the era before capitalism, and would be again in any post-market era, if socialism's failure rate is any indication.
He is such an inspiration to many. I can't imagine how I would feel if I got to meet him in person. Very cool!

I think their is another piece to this that no one is looking at. i just want to know what you think. the Russians anchor babies he is letting them stay at his hotels. they can come back here to go to our schools and run for our government position and become our president since they are Americans citizens. they can work their way in to our society with any one question it since they are American citizens doctors,nurses, teachers ect.
