That is true chuckles but at least it doesn't effect the whole country. That's why I always said health care should be done at the state level. Romney had the right idea. The bigger it is the bigger the corruption.

The only thing that makes federal corruption not look so bad, is corruption at the local level.
Mike if you want to get rid of corruption you need to de centralize government. Give more power to the states and less to the Feds. Then take it away from the state and give more power to each county. It is a lot harder to steal when they are standing right in front of you.

That is one of the biggest problems with you and the majority on the left. You are quick to throw out labels, generalize, and interject race into a problem when it has NOTHING to do with race!!! It happened with Tryvon and in Ferguson…and now you are trying to invoke race into a rant from Michael Savage.
I have to laugh when you (and your callers) throw stats out there like 80% of voters for Romney were ‘white’, but forget to mention that 95+% of black voters voted for Obama. What does this mean? Does this mean everyone is a racist? NO!!! I voted for Obama the first time, but then voted for Romney the second time. I based my vote on what was best for the country at the time of the election.
My question is what if Doc. Ben Carson becomes the Republican candidate for President. Does this mean anyone who votes against him is racist? Or disagrees with his policies are they racist too? You see Thom you and most the people on the left concentrate on the superficial and irrelevant factors and NOT the important issues!!!!
For the record I’m not a fan of Michael Savage he is too extreme for MOST of us who favor conservative politicians. Ironically you and Michael are very a like, because you are the left’s equivalent to Michael Savage with your extreme left views.

My friend when you read the Book of Revelations and look at it as a metaphorical puzzle you see patterns that explain the world today. For instance one famous misunderstood metaphor is MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. .
The fact remains, human behavior is natural and therefore predictable. History, tends to repeat itself, unless it is studied, analysed, and applied to the present. Much the way a tree grows in stages from seed, to bud, to youngling, to adult, to towering redwood. No two trees are the same; but, the stages of growth are always identical. Is it not that the evolution of human society can occur in stages as well, evolving over time the same way that a tree evolves over time during its <a href="http://www.ibloginside.com">life cycle</a>? After all, both are alive, both obey natural laws, both react to the same environment, and both evolve over time. What is so hard to believe about the history of mankind being a universal constant that tends to repeat itself over and over and over again, varying minimally from growth cycle to cycle; while, always following the same series of stages? Whatever you feel about the supernatural, you cannot discount these simple observable natural facts.

Do you honestly believe that elections are being held without any hacking or software influence? I dont see the folks that control our government letting an election of any type go against their wishes.

With today's technology the citizens can vote on bills directly from their smart phones or computers. With the probably many, many billions of dollars that will be saved the government can install voting locations so the underprivileged can cast their ballot. Of course corporations would try to find a loophole and we would have to make sure all the holes are closed up. Every bill could be available for review for at least a week before a vote is taken. Let's get rid of those that are lying and taking advantage of the people of this country. We are in the 21st century let's act like it!

Wonder if Thom's aware that SiriusXM has dropped channel 127 from its Canadian programming lineup , effectively silencing Left wing satellite talk radio in Canada , everything from Thom, to Bill Press , to Stephanie Miller, to Mike Malloy amongst others. I have cancelled my SiriusXM in Canada, effective immediately. Seems this is just another right wing leaning Corporate media source , effectively silencing Liberal talk.

while human activity is indeed a factor in global warming or whatever they are calling it these days, the consumption of flesh and blood (meat for the sensitive) is first and foremost the biggest problem that humans are contributing to this disaster.
The other culprit, first and foremost in tandem with animal consumption is geo-engineering aka atmospheric aerosol spraying aka chemtrails, along with scalar devices and equipment. This is the one that is cooking this planet from the top down.

Make it law that all doctors and hospitals give you a media stick/credit card with all medical history of all records at discharge or you dont pay them for their services. Also people need to carry it on them. If diagnosed correctly insurance companies save money by early treatment.
Without a copy of your medical records at all times your life is in danger of misdiagnosis ar each hospital because they always have to start over from scratch without all the information.
It is vital to carry it too just in case you go down in public where no one knows you.
What treatment and how does the ambulance treat or isolate a Possible serious infectious contagent or harmless cold.
We are all in danger with deadly diseases if first responders dont have all the history and hospitals are not reporting possible infectious deadly diseases instantly.
If we have to wait for late information the center for disease control has no power to act in time to prevent anything.

Why in the age of massive technological resources our inability to communicate - whether signing up for medical insurance, accessing medical records or reliably casting a vote - is massively unreliable? Banks, Stock Houses, and oil companies can track every penny.
And though we live with instantaneous, world wide communication with throw away, hand held, high speed devices, the broad band of stupid information consumes the masses like opiates.

The modern day jesters are those who secured our medical records with their proprietary and very profitable keys, just as they asked us to trust the vote counting software that determines nothing less than our freedom - redeemable to the highest bidder.
Well, corporate abuse of social systems is also rampant. It may be close to impossible to come up with commons that deny abusers access to the commons, but we definitely should be searching for ways to do just that.
I already use my own cloth bags when I shop for groceries, although I do use a few plastic ones for bagging cat litter. I'll have to figure another way to do this if/when the stores in my small upstate NY town finally stops bagging groceries in plastic. However the sooner they do, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
Sounds like a moral issue with the management not govt. However, I also fully understand that 'whistle blower' protection is sorely lacking with the Obama admin(Snowden, Manning, Asange, etc...). So it's not like you could've said anything about it without expecting a huge backlash. Based on some of the examples I've read over the last decades, public abuse with taxpayer's money is usually a result of the refusal of govt to protect whistle blowers. The system is rigged for malfeasance(unless there's some political alterior motive justifying a fight against malfeasance) and rigged against whistle blowers...

I have to somewhat disagree that people are responsible with public money. I was in the US Airforce and worked later at Sandia National Labs. The people I worked with were very wasteful with taxpayers money. Being lazy, non productive and neglectful.
