The Good! Elizabeth Warren - She's surging in the polls against incumbent Senator Scott Brown in Massachusetts - and she shined last night in the state's first debate for the Democratic nomination. The Bad! Michele "Are you hypnotized" Bachmann. On the campaign trail in Iowa - Bachmann was asked by a supporter, "when will we impeach President Obama and get him out of the way?" instead of pushing back on the man's uninformed remarks - Bachmann jumped on board with him.....And the very, very ugly...Wall Street. A new lawsuit was filed in an Atlanta court alleging that some of the biggest banks - like JP Morgan - Bank of America - and Well Fargo - defrauded returning veterans out of hundreds of millions of dollars

Hartmann: Occupy Wall Street is Unionized

Stephen Webster, Raw Story joins Thom Hartmann. The Occupy Wall Street movement was put on steroids today as tens of thousands of unionized workers took to the streets in solidarity with the demonstrators who've been camped out in lower Manhattan for three weeks protesting against Wall Street's destruction of our economy. The massive movement - some estimates put the number of people on the streets at 15000 - marched through the streets of New York City - flanked by hundreds of police officers and at least three NYPD choppers hovering overhead. The crowd marched from the state courthouse to Foley Square and then on to Broadway - closing down that street. Similar marches took place in Boston and San Francisco as well. So what does this day of action mean for the movement as a whole

That is if you call a candidate saying at least 2 dozen times he's not running for President and then today calling a press conference to once again announce that he's...not running for President - a political bombshell. Yet - that's exactly what New Jersey Governor Chris Christie did today - and the cable news outlets went completely nuts - covering almost the entirety of his hour and 15 minutes long press conference. Hartmann: Eric Cantor...no jobs bill, no safety net, no regulations...no! no! no!

Neil McCabe vs. Thom Hartmann. House Republicans again proved they don't care about creating jobs. Eric Cantor called President Obama's "American Job Act" "unreasonable" - and said the House won't even vote on it. Since when is trying to get over 20 million unemployed Americans back to work "unreasonable"? Instead of focusing on jobs - House Republicans are focusing on cutting federal health, education, and labor programs. The New York Times is reporting, "House Republicans are laying the groundwork for another battle with President Obama over spending and domestic policy with a bill that would cut some of his favorite health and education programs, tie the hands of the National Labor Relations Board, and eliminate federal grants for Planned Parenthood clinics." Unclear how many jobs will be created under this assault against programs that educate our kids and assist with women's health care. So how long until Eric Cantor and the Republicans drop their war on Planned Parenthood and get American back to work rebuilding this country?

There's pressure mounting on the young people in Manhattan - many of whom refer to themselves as "the other 99 percent of us" or the "99ers" - to lay out some clear reasons as to why they are occupying Wall Street In fact - the mainstream media has turned to ridiculing the movement - because there isn't a set agenda or clearly defined goal.
