Anti-drug propaganda and Miami zombies

GOP - Sabotage INC

When all else fails - do everything you can to sabotage a Democratic president - and make sure the American people hate him at the end of the day - no matter what. In tonight's Daily Take - I'll tell you why that is the real official platform of the Republican Party. Ever since Franklin Delano Roosevelt famously won the office of the presidency four times in a row, the Republican strategy against Democrats has been pretty simple and can be summed up in one word: "Sabatoge." When there's a Democrat in the White House, simply and purely do everything possible to sabatoge his efforts to do anything that will make him look good or will help the American people If President Obama doesn't start channeling his inner Harry Truman, we should all get ready for President Romney - and the super-hard-right-wing Supreme Court he'll bring us.

Shut up Mitt...you have your own Solyndra!

Richard Fowler, f joins Thom Hartmann. The Romney campaign might have to shelve their untruthful Solyndra attacks for a little while. You might remember last week - Romney appeared outside the headquarters of Solyndra - to attack the President over a federal investment gone awry at the now-bankrupt solar company. Nevermind the fact that the government investment represented less than 1% of all the investments made by the Department of Energy in renewable companies. And nevermind the fact that the investment originiated under the Bush administration - and not the Obama Administration. Romney's never been good with the facts - and I've said it before - and I'll say it again - the only way Mitt Romney can win the White House is by lying. But now - Romney has some explaining to do on his own when it comes to failed investments in solar companies. As the Boston Herald reports - as Governor of Massachusetts - Romney ALSO invested taxpayer dollars into a green company that went belly-up. In 2003 - Romney appeared outside solar company Konarka Technologies - calling for more grants for the renewable energy sector. But after a $1.5 million investment by the state - Konarka filed for bankruptcy - laying off its entire staff - and liquidating all of its assets. So when Romney attacks President Obama for a similarly failed investment at Solyndra - he's also attacking himself.

The Good! *California State Assembly* While states like Florida are making it harder to vote - California is making it easier. On Thursday - the Assembly passed a bill - which would remove restrictions on when Californians can register. The Bad! *Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper* Harper and the Canadian government are re-writing Canada's environmental laws to help the fossil fuel industry make even more money. and the Very Very Ugly! *Dr. Susan V. Borja* Borja and the Trinitas Regional Medical Center where she works are being sued by Joao Simoes - a gay New Jersey man.
