Big Oil Pulled the Wool Over the Eyes of The New York Times

Problem is that this so-called "conservation group" is made up largely of oil industry executives. Transocean -the owner of the rig that exploded - hosted this so-called "environmental group's" most recent board meeting.

The conservatives are yelling from the rooftops that we are witnessing the slow death of European Socialism due to massive spending on social programs. They say the countries bleeding the most red ink are Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain or the P.I.G.S. of Europe as they are known in financial circles.

Axelrod said no new drilling will start until “an adequate review of what happened here and what is being proposed elsewhere.” The BP-Halliburton oil disaster could surpass Exxon Valdez very quickly.
