A prominent conservative Supreme Court Justice was interrupted today leaving a meeting with five billionaire contributors to the Republican Party. He was found to be carrying a large brown paper bag stuffed with what appeared to be several million dollars in cash. When it was indicated that the situation looked incriminating, the Justice stated that money is speech and that the content of the bag was merely a record of the most important part of the lunch conversation.
Unregulated Capitalism will make our free internet much worse than China's. It is one of the first steps needed in Fascism. Merry Xmas Diane and OU812. You will lose your freedom.

I don't know, Thom. I do a lot of commenting on various news sites and am almost always impressed with the low quality of the general comments by my fellows. Most are hyper-emotional and seem to serve as an outlet for pent-up adolescent angst, with little or no actual information or higher purpose. Maybe being forced to return to word of mouth and local publications wouldn't be all bad. This great internet experiment is still up for grabs as far as I can see. Your day-time callers are another indicator of the inability of so many of us to express ourselves verbally or through any medium. The utter lack of informed opinion on the part of tRump's supporters, due to their lack of interest in the truth of any matter, is another indicator of the power of established media like Fox News, hardwired into tRump's brain as it obviously is. No doubt the real issue with "net neurtality" is the same as everywhere in our amoral society at this point: money and new opportunities to wrest it from the helpless masses. I'll just talking to freinds for now, although I do appreciate your efforts and this website. Thank you!

You really have no idea how to make and accumulate wealth. Investing in the stock market is one way, but in my opinion it might not be the best way. Some of the largest companies in the world, think Amazon, Apple, Dell, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Home Depot didn't exist 40 years ago. I can tell you for a fact, these companies didn't become as large and as wealthy as they are by investing in the stock market. One of the qualities for success is not crying that someone has more than you....

1. As you must remember who runs the Washington Post and the NYT that is so often sourced by the leftie/socialists. Any bias from these two? We need not mention the three major television networks as they are obvious to even the dimmest among us here.
2. Mueller, along with millions of other voters, probably knows that President Trump is NOT a Republican.
The Washington Examiner is your typical 1% owned and operated media. In this case it gives you billionaire Phillips Anschutz's opinion and what opinion that you should have on it. It is sad that the right wing middle class is so enamored with the 1%'s opinion. Does it really surprise you that there might be "biased" investigators? People have opinions. Doubt that you could find any room of people without bias or opinion. You are obviously biased. Do not forget that Mueller is a staunch Republican and also has bias and opinion.
Now we find out that there are biased investigators on Muellers team.

ABC News on Friday evening corrected an explosive special report that aired in the morning saying that Donald Trump, as a candidate for president, had asked Michael Flynn to make contact with Russians.
During "World News Tonight," ABC News investigative reporter Brian Ross said the source who had provided the initial information for his story later told him that it was as president-elect, not as a candidate, that Trump asked Flynn to contact the Russians.
The initial report, based on one anonymous source, prompted a dramatic reaction in the financial markets, and the Dow fell more than 350 points.
Stocks largely recovered later in the day.

In response to the next question from an audience member about how John feels about his brother Tony Podesta of the Podesta Group being under FBI investigation, John Podesta made sure to distance himself from Tony as he stammered through his response:
“Look I think my brother, uh, uh, A) I’m not my brother. Does it worry me? You know, I, I, It’s, it’s painful. I mean his firm, uh, uh, after many years in business, uh, uh, un-unraveled as a result of, I think of the fact that it was under investigation,” adding that he thinks Tony’s involvement with Manafort’s partner Rick Gates and Congressman Vin Weber (R-MN) was ill advised.

BTW: I'm sticking to my theory that Putin has know all along what an asshat Trump is, and that the motivation to install him was to bring this country to it's knees with political chaos. Putin's cyber force agents had to be directed to some degree from our end, there's no other way they could have known the details needed for disrupting the election. Collusion was absolutely necessary.
