Cats and geese, both great. Oddly enough Turkeys are equally as tough as a goose.
Fire followed by rain is California's worst nightmare. I remember the scenes being played on the 10:00 news as a kid and it has been going on for centuries. The difference now, man seems to have a special need for homes in slide prone areas. No different than the homes built in stilts in hurricane prone areas. Common sense is no longer a factor.
I hears the CA rep that thinks he can confiscate 300 million semi auto firearms. The US government would not like to be in a war with a hundred million firearm owners regardless of the weaponry they have, but it does show how totally unhinged and desperate the leftie/socialists have become.
I saw this last night, and I just assumed that it was satire. It was just so extreme.
Rep. Eric Swalwell threatened nuclear war if Americans refuse to surrender their guns. Yes, he actually said it.
It all started when Swalwell announced he was introducing a bill to impose a mandatory confisction plan for all civilian-owned semi-automatic rifles.
Joe Biggs is a US Army veteran. He responded to Swalwell's plan on Twitter.
"So basically, Rep. Swalwell wants a war. Because that's what you would get. You're outta you f***ing mind if you think I'll give up my rights and give the government all the power."
Then, Rep. Swalwell responded.
"And it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they're legit."
And just like that, a sitting Congressman and 2020 Democratic Presidential candidate threatened nuclear annihilation if Americans resisted his gun confiscation plan…
Rain storms could bring more misery for California fire evacueesTerray Sylvester
CHICO, Calif. (Reuters) - Thousands of people displaced by California’s most destructive wildfire, including hundreds living in tents and cars, face heavy rains next week that could trigger dangerous floods and mudslides, while helping douse the flames.
A federal judge has ordered Hillary Clinton to answer five questions the former Secretary of State has avoided for years about her use of a private email server to conduct official U.S. diplomatic business.
On Wednesday U.S. District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan gave Clinton 30 days to respond under oath to five questions.
Sullivan announced his decision from the bench rather than waiting to issue it in writing, an indication of the urgency he appears to attach to the case.
These questions were all put to her nearly four years ago in a lawsuit filed by the nonprofit government watchdog Judicial Watch. Hillary Clinton Email Questions
The five questions Hillary Clinton must answer are:
1.) Who decided to create the clintonemail.com system?
2.) When was it created?
3.) Why was it created?
4.) Who set it up?
5.) When did it become operational?
Clinton has on many occasions refused to answer those five and many more questions about why she used a secret email server, instead of the legally required government system during her tenure as the chief U.S. diplomat.
U.S. District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan also ordered Hillary Clinton to explain why, on Oct. 22, 2015, she told the House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi that all of her emails “were in the State Department’s system” and “if they want to see them, they would certainly have been able to do so.”
The judge ordered Clinton to “identify the basis for this statement, including all facts on which you relied in support of the statement, how and when you became aware of these facts, and, if you were made aware of these facts by or through another person, identify the person who made you aware of these facts.”
Every person Hillary Clinton has named as having assisted her in creating her secret email system and in responding to the committee will then be subject to further FOIA discovery by Judicial Watch.
This could lead to new revelations and prompt reopening of the FBI investigation but under a new attorney general.
Acting Attorney General Matthew Whittaker reportedly advised Trump last year that a special counsel should be appointed to investigate Clinton’s role in the Uranium One scandal.
The former Secretary of State could be subject to contempt of court charges if she refuses to comply with U.S. District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan’s order or felony charges if she answers the questions but then provides false information on those matters.
HotCoffee, we can add Minnesota to the list. They elected Keith Ellison the #2 man in the democrat party, woman beater, Louis Farakan supporter, and open borders advocate, as their attorney general.
And....in all fairness New york...Schummer and Alexandria Ortez-Kotex are getting play as well as Georgia...Florida... Arizona....Chicago and more are all catching up :)
No offence taken. I didn't vote for any of them..:). It seems Georgia, Arizona, & Florida are running for 2nd place.
Most people who grew up in the SF area have known about Kamala and Willie for years.
One big problem for CA is most of the people in CA are not from CA. Big Tech for instance brought in people from everywhere. The money they have spent to keep these politicians in place is obscene. Also Cox for govener was a weak choice with no republican support like other states recieve. We really need stronger canidates. I had never heard of Cox until a couple weeks before I voted.
The democrat party strategy is to make sure all the talking bobble heads bring on as many election gurus as they can and screech how the Republicans are stealing elections. If they do that often enough people may start to believe them. That is until the public is exposed to the total incompetence from the likes of this certified idiot.
Gov. Rick Scott (R) leads Sen. Bill Nelson (D) by 12,562 votes in the Florida Senate race. A margin of victory that large has never be overturned in a recount. According to FairVote, the average vote shift in statewide general election recounts is a meager 282 votes. “The biggest swing came in Florida’s 2000 presidential election recount, when Al Gore cut 1,247 votes off George W. Bush’s lead, ultimately not enough to flip the state to his column,” according to a FiveThirtyEight report on what FairVote found.
So even if Nelson were to swing 10 times as many votes in this recount as Gore did in 2000, he would still come up short. Democrats know that recounting the existing votes is unlikely to change the result. So Democrats have filed a series of lawsuits asking courts to change Florida elections laws after the fact. The result would be that they can count ineligible votes in the hope that these will provide the margin necessary to overcome Scott’s lead. For example, Florida statute mandates that, with the exception of overseas and military voters, vote-by-mail ballots are counted only if they are “received by the supervisor of elections not later than 7 p.m. on the day of the election.” But Nelson has sued demanding that mail ballots that arrived after the 7 p.m. deadline to be counted as part of the recount.
Similarly, Florida law says mail and provisional ballots are counted only if the signatures on them match the signatures that elections offices have on record. If there is a signature mismatch, the voter is notified and can “complete and submit an affidavit in order to cure the vote-by-mail ballot until 5 p.m. on the day before the election” (emphasis added). But Democrats are asking a judge to throw that law out and count ballots with signatures that don’t match the voter signature on file.
Federal prosecutors are investigating charges that Florida Democratic Party officials urged voters to fix their ballots after Election Day, including evidence that they changed official state election documents to indicate that ballots could be returned after the polls had closed. Initial reports indicated this was limited to a handful of counties, but a new report in the Naples Daily News has uncovered emails showing that “Florida Democrats were organizing a broader statewide effort beyond those counties to give voters the altered forms” with the goal to “fix and submit as many absentee ballots as possible with the altered forms in hopes of later including them in vote totals if a judge ruled such ballots were allowed.”
These counties’ problems could have many different possible causes, including incompetence, or fraud, or both. But it’s fair to ask whether these Democratic counties are intentionally slow rolling the recount to delay final election results in the hopes that Democratic lawsuits will work and that a judge will allow them to count ineligible votes in violation of state law. As Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) explained, “That isn’t a strategy to win an election, that is a strategy to steal an election.”
The elections have become very slimy over the last few years with early, and earlier voting plus mail in ballots. The dems have become masters at election fraud and they are now not even pretending they are not doing it.
I saw a clip of a senate hearing on the confirmation of someone named Vitiello to be the acting director of ICE. Sen. Harris of California (what is wrong with you people who live there?) kept trying to ask him if he was aware of the perception that ICE was like the KKK. Of course, he said he saw no connection between the KKK and ICE. She kept asking him over and over before she finally moved on after not getting the answer she obviously wanted.
Is Sen. Harris aware of the perception that most people think she is a moron?

DianeR,
Dunno...maybe cause they're starved for attention, taking to much Ambien, and just plain nuts!
Also the people making the most noise do not have to suffer their own decisions in their gated communities with high fenced walls.
Actually I think DIFI and Pelosi created a monster and now they can't control it.
I'm not to concerned cause I think it will come back to bite them as they start to chew on each other.
How many poor immigrants is Thom taking in?
Will Thom ask his Bro to give up his gun (s)?
I think not!!
A rumor from a friend of DIFI claims she has carried a gun in her purse for years....Hmmm...not for me ...just for thee.
Have a great night!

HotCoffee and Coalage3,
No offense HotCoffee but CA is producing a lot of what America does not need. Feinstein, Harris, Pelosi, and this poor gal who is having her 3 point lead removed because of "recounts".

As for Harris, always remember she decided it was good for her career to have an affair with married Willie Brown the mayor of San Francisco who was 30 years her senior and suddenly and magically her political career took off.
