Wallace was indeed an open minded and progressive man. Unfortunately he trusted Stalin, not realizing he was about as bad a monster as history has ever produced. In 1952 he admitted his terrible mistake here. Roosevelt gave far too much to the Soviets and it is quite possible that Wallace would have done even more. Truman made mistake too perhaps going too far the other way and laying the groundwork for later problems--he did say that under Eisenhower the CIA got completely out of control. Anyway, Wallace might have been limited by Congress and the special interests behind it; even Truman couldn't get a universial health care bill through.
I have said that the last 4 years have been like living in an endless bar fight. But this past one has been more like swimming in silly putty. Nothing sticks, nothing works and everything bounces crazily. Hopefully we've reached the nadir. Getting rid of Trump and cutting down his enablers in the Senate are only the first steps, but they are big ones. Remember, nothing lasts forever and bad times do turn around. May it be soon. If this fool stays in office it's hard to see how any sort of coherent, effective country will be left, and maybe that is exactly what they want.

Now, if Trump becomes "incapacitated, dies, resigns, or is removed from office," God forbid, and if Pence contracts the virus while out on the maskless campaign trail for Trump (instead of protecting the government in DC -- "Russia, are you listening?") and also becomes incapacitated for the duration, God forbid, and if their much-touted "army of lawyers" could be laid out on the ocean floor head to toe from here to Europe, well then, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, would it?
Hey, gotta game out all the scenarios, since this might be the closet the United States has ever come to such a remote possibility. Having pondered this alternate, tantalizing future-history, I would still wish all said Republican reprobates a speedy recovery ...after January 20, 2021!
The drugs being used on Trump indicate a severe case of Covid-19. Drugs that are used as a last resort. But Trump then goes on a motorcade in a Suburban, thus exposing the others in the vehicle. Tomorrow he will probably go play golf.

To understand Trump, you need to change how you analyze Trump. Here is how I analyze it:
He always tell/confess his mistakes, faults, and sins with one catch: put somebody's else name on top of his name. This way, it sounds innocent to him. He learned this from his dad (Fred) and Roy Cohn. Remember what Trump said: I don't take responsibility. This statement is really attractive for "right-wing" people just like the bible where New Testament gives them the belief that all of their wrong doings or their sins are paid off or somebody else's responsibility to take those punishments. While this is happening, they are indoctrinating their followers by exercising idolatry by sketching/preaching "white" Jesus with light skin with light brown hair while it clearly states that Jesus (it is actually Iesus) had dark (jasper) skin. His head and his hairs were white like wool (kinky), as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. Since white people don't like to follow rules or their traditions because it feels like their freedom is taken way, they (white people) had to create Freedom of Religion to exercise their ignorance (fake freedom). Not only that, they (whites) get irritated and feel uncomfortable whenever they get criticized/challenged of their beliefs and continues exercise/practice their ignorance. At the end, it becomes a cult.
Now, we know that Trump tested positive and Biden tested negative after Trump want Biden to take the test for Coronavirus. And Trump is not in quarantine. Is this mean he is "down playing his Coronavirus results" to exercise his whiteness (being ignorant). Why? this is another form of "voter suppression" to win this election (just like 100 years ago with Spanish Flu Pandemic). That's why many "white" people don't wear masks/face-coverings so that they can bring and spread this contagious virus to outside of their community/neighborhood. This way, they can become and form and keep their majority by achieving above 60% of this country's population (Birth Dearth: Ben J. Wattenberg 1987) (Ben J. Wattenberg is former member of American Enterprise Institute).
If National Geographic is smart. They will dissolve the company if Reefer Maddog starts controlling it. That way, National Geographic will retain their integrity and honesty. And then, reform another company. Even if they don't have much money left.

I’ll concede that Mr. “I can’t believe he just called me a clown on national television” actually has or had the virus when they carry him out in a casket. An all inclusive society should be able to accommodate all its "children" for better, for worse, for poorer, for richer and no matter whom they support, since the "day after" the more united a society is, the easier, the richer and the more interesting things can get. In contrast the more identical the members of a society strive to be, the less stable and less genius it becomes.

Although it appears he did actually contract the disease, Michael Moore is right; at this point, how in the hell could anyone correctly surmise the truth of anything coming from this administration or, for that matter, from any other politician with an "R" behind his or her name.
If he was going for the sympathy vote, it clearly ain't working. His raving lunatics are still in denial -- smearing their bodies with feces and aimlessly wandering the streets like a zombie herd -- are still failing to recognize simple reality, are still so far gone as to render their "thoughts and prayers" just more schizoid gibberish. The braindead are void of normal human emotions -- sympathy and empathy not even registering on the scale.
And, as expected, most everyone else has no sympathy whatsoever for this mass murderer either, other than a perfunctory, "May he have a speedy recovery." I suspect that most fair-minded Americans, and no doubt the rest of the world, just want him healthy enough to face the consequences of his own actions: landslide election rout, bankruptcy, and serious jail time. Ditto for Don Jr, Eric, and Ivanka, et al.
Naturally, on a human level, one wants to feel empathy, but with hundreds of thousands of squandered lives and millions suffering due to Trump & Friends' deliberate criminal negligence, that is pretty much taken off the table. After all, other than neo-nazis and white supremacists, I suppose -- you know, Trump supporters -- who else has much sympathy for Adolf Hitler or Joseph Stalin or Saddam Hussein or Bashar al-Assad or Vladimir Putin or (name your favorite murderous tyrant)?
Beyond the number-one question of when or if this COVID-19 nightmare will ever end, the other glaring question is when or if any real justice will ever be meted out.

As usual with Trump you cannot trust anything that you hear. His so called Doctor (a DO, not a MD with no covid experience) says he is doing great. His ChIef of Staff says he is not doing so great. Anyway, I thought it took several days to a few weeks to really show the extent of the virus. I am also curious how many that were exposed will test positive. 87 year old Chuck GrasslEy R-IA refuses to be tested although exposed. Jim Jordan R-OH is Quarantining after exposure. 3 MN R Congressmen were exposed, and knowing this flew from DC to MN on Delta, breaking rules against flying after exposure. This is a very small partial list. REPUBLICANS ARE SUPER SPREADERS!
At first, I thought the possibility that Trump faking his Covid infection was just dumbass conspiracy talk. Now, not so sure. The more I see, the more I have my doubts. As Michael Moore says, after 25,000 lies there is no reason to believe anything coming from Trump or his administration. And Dr. Sean O’Hannity Conley was not very convincing either and seemed uncomfortable and testy, giving his report.
Not sure what would be the reason for Trump faking his positive Covid-19 infection, but both Boris Johnson and Jair Bolsonaro became more popular after recovering from Covid-19. Bottomline, never believe anything Trump says. Be skeptical!

Your Friday 3rd hour once again tore down Medicare Advantage plans. The irony is you are promoting FOR PROFIT INSURANCE COMPANIES with their supplemental plans. They do not cover the 20% for nothing. I can only talk about my plan. I am on Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage plan. Kaiser Permanente is not a for profit insurance company. It is a not for profit medical consortium company. I pay my regular Medicare Rate for the plan. Doctor visits at Kaiser Permanente facilities are $5 and specialists are $35. The medical facilities are great, I had surgery 2 years ago and the bills were below $200. The Surgery was in a top rated hospital with a Kaiser Doctor. Kaiser Permanente is the only 5 star rating in my state. It also has actually gotten cheaper each year. It is not in every state, but is in Oregon. If you are out of state you can go to any Urgent Care or ER for minimal co-pay. It does provide the Gym Membership (which was great before Covid) but other care such as dental etc are additional monthly fees for insurance. I do not get the extra plans. You are doing a great disservice to your listeners by promoting For profit insurance companies. You actually lied on the air several times on Friday and I am calling you out on it. Do better investigation.
