I don't recall Trump saying anything about cutting SS, medicare, welfare programs, etc. Do you? Its possble I missed those statements.

I have been voting since 1972 and this is the same rhetoric that is always thrown around when a republican is president. That is, they are going to cut all of the so-called social programs so they can cut taxes for the rich. They want to shrink the federal govenment down to nothing...blah, blah, blah.

And when has that ever happened? Under Nixon? Nope. Reagan? Nope. The Bush boys? Nope. But somehow you think that Trump is going to accomplish that feat? I don't think so. I'll go on record as saying that the federal govt. will expand during the Trump presidency. History is certainly on my side.

So the correct answer is that you have not lost anything since Trump was inaugurated.

My final answer on this because dealing with someone who is so stubborn makes this very difficult and a waste of both of our times.

From what I understand,

SS is funded by working people with income up to a about $128,000 taxed at 6.2% matched by 6.2% from your employer. Beyond that number only Medicare taxes are still taken out forever regardless of income. An individual has their payout benefits capped at a about $2800/mo. at full retirement depending on earnings.

Leftie/socialists keep harping on the fact SS should continue to be withdrawn from paychecks regardless of income. I actually understand that.

Leftie/socialists forget to mention that action would result in much higher SS payouts to those "rich" come their retirement, so instead of $28000/mo it would be possible for one to receive $28,000/mo. or in some extreme cases maybe $280,000/mo. depending on earnings.

In my world this is an equal pay in, equal pay out program.

Now I expect your typical leftie/socialist to just say screw them and cap them at $2800/mo. regardless and make them continue to pay in at the 12.4% rate without any increase in benefits.
