Is Trump Encouraging Civil War?
Over the weekend, Donald Trump used words like "treason" and "Civil War" in his tweets, and called for the imprisonment of the US congressman who is leading the impeachment inquiry. Clearly, he is willing to put personal political survival above the good of our country, which is all the more reason he needs to be impeached right away. In fact, virtually every dimension of the impeachment investigation is about Trump putting personal interests above country, all the way back to the year-and-a-half that he lied to Republicans before the election, saying that he wasn't negotiating to build a hotel in Moscow when he fully intended to try to start construction as soon as he lost the election. Trump needs to be removed and replaced as soon as possible for the good of our nation. -Thom

Quote: " If taken seriously, our colleagues' assumption that the identity of a speaker has no relevance to the Government's ability to regulate political speech would lead to some remarkable conclusions. Such an assumption would have accorded the propaganda broadcasts to our troops by "Tokyo Rose" during World War II the same protection as speech by Allied commanders. More pertinently, it would appear to afford the same protection to multinational corporations controlled by foreigners as to individual Americans" - Justice Stevens.

Tweet: " Leave Joe Biden alone? So are you telling us @KamalaHarris that what Biden did was ethical and moral? Where are the questions about the conflict of interest that occurred from Biden's actions and the issues with his son? This response is embarrassing." by Nikki Haley.
Tweet: " "Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats can't put down the Impeachment match. They know they couldn't beat him in 2016 against Hillary Clinton, and they're increasingly aware of the fact that they won't win against him in 2020, and Impeachment is the only tool they have to get...." by Donald J. Trump.
Tweet: " ....rid of Donald J. Trump - And the Democrats don't care if they burn down and destroy this nation in the process. I have never seen the Evangelical Christians more angry over any issue than this attempt to illegitimately remove this President from office, overturn the 2016...." by Donald J. Trump.
Tweet: " ....Election, and negate the votes of millions of Evangelicals in the process. They know the only Impeachable offense that President Trump has committed was beating Hillary Clinton in 2016. That's the unpardonable sin for which the Democrats will never forgive him....." by Donald J. Trump.

Hour Two: Why Our Founders Supported Impeachment...
Tweet: " Can't say I love Bill Barr making an unannounced trip to Rome, during which trip no one knows who he's meeting with (but doesn't appear to be meeting with anyone you'd expect), at a time when one of the top two suspects in the Trump-Russia scandal (on the Russian side) is in Rome" by Seth Abramson.
Tweet: " This tweet is itself an independent basis for impeachment - a sitting president threatening civil war if Congress exercises its constitutionally authorized power. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1178477539653771264" by John Coates.

Quote: " As we view the achievements of aggregated capital, we discover the existence of trusts, combinations, and monopolies, while the citizen is struggling far in the rear, or is trampled beneath an iron heel. Corporations, which should be the carefully restrained creatures of the law and the servants of the people, are fast becoming the people's masters." - President Grover Cleveland.

Hour Three: How Should America Deal with a Billionaire Poisoned Media?
Quote: " Mr. Govr. MORRIS'S opinion had been changed by the arguments used in the discussion. He was now sensible of the necessity of impeachments, if the Executive was to continue for any [FN12] time in office. Our Executive was not like a Magistrate having a life interest, much less like one having an hereditary interest in his office. He may be bribed by a greater interest to betray his trust; and no one would say that we ought to expose ourselves to the danger of seeing the first Magistrate in forign pay, without being able to guard agst. it by displacing him. One would think the King of England well secured agst. bribery. He has as it were a fee simple in the whole Kingdom. Yet Charles II was bribed by Louis XIV. The Executive ought therefore to be impeachable for treachery; Corrupting his electors, and incapacity were other causes of impeachment. For the latter he should be punished not as a man, but as an officer, and punished only by degradation from his office. This Magistrate is not the King but the prime-Minister. The people are the King. When we make him amenable to Justice however we should take care to provide some mode that will not make him dependent on the Legislature." - James Madison.
