Trump and the GOP are blatantly encouraging foreign dictators to hack the 2020 election
 It looks like Donald Trump and the leadership of the GOP are encouraging other countries to hack our upcoming 2020 election. Donald Trump is sucking up to dictators, strongman oligarchs, and autocrats around the world, while Mitch McConnell is using political brute force to prevent individual states from hardening their election systems. Why? Looking at the entire picture in context, consider Karl Marx's favorite question: "Who benefits?" Who benefits when the leaders of countries with sophisticated internet hacking capabilities (North Korea, Saudi Arabia) and no democratic oversight are told by Trump that as long as he's in office he has their backs? Might Trump and McConnell hope they'll intervene in our election to keep in power a political party that now disdains democracy and a free press, and embraces dictatorial behavior like calling for the imprisonment of Trump's political rivals, and of individuals in the intelligence agencies who have investigated him and the GOP? The New Horror Awaiting Us If the GOP Is Successful
Trump and the Republican Party have been screaming about the horrors of Obamacare ever since it was passed in the early years of the Obama presidency. Today, their lawsuit to completely destroy Obamacare is being heard in a federal appeals court, and may well go from there to the Supreme Court. If the Republicans succeed, millions of people in America will lose their health insurance, and all the rest of us who use insurance from for-profit companies will once again face the loss of all our insurance coverage if we get seriously ill, or the absolute unavailability of insurance coverage if we have a pre-existing condition. Republicans think this is a good idea. This is political dynamite, and the Democrats should be using it aggressively - and we all need to be telling our friends, family and neighbors about the horrors that will await us if the GOP is successful. -Thom |

Hour One: Are you hearing the media re-write history and eulogize Perot as the guy "who opposed government debt" instead of the guy "who opposed NAFTA and other 'free trade' agreements"?
