Donald Trump arrived in London and immediately tweeted about how upset he was that he couldn't watch his beloved Fox News and attacked CNN. As former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has pointed out in a recent newspaper piece, Rupert Murdoch took over so much media in Australia that he destroyed the politics of that country, then moved to the United Kingdom and did the same there helping to elect conservative prime minister's for generations, and then he moved to the United States and inflicted his worldview on us through Fox, The New York Post, and the Wall Street Journal. Fox stands alone against every other news service in the world with things like climate denialism, support for tax policies that support the billionaire class, and deregulation that poisons our air and water.

Trump's unwillingness to even watch CNN should tell us everything we need to know about the tragedy of democracy that is being caused by our having a 24/7 propaganda channel as one of American's primary sources of information.
