The judiciary is the third branch of government and has even more power than the presidency or Congress, because they have the power not only to strike down laws but also, at the level of the Supreme Court, to write laws. And Mitch McConnell has a plan to completely pack the judiciary, from top to bottom, with hard-core right wing cranks who have been pre-selected by the billionaire-funded Federalist Society.

To do this, he plans to break the rules of the Senate to stop Democrats' ability to carefully examine individual nominees. He may do this as early as today; it's important to call your two senators right now and register your thoughts. 202-224-3121.
