Regarding high level of rape in the military, 70 per day, if women were in charge, it could be treated like the 83-year old lady said in the 3rd hour of the show (6/4/13). When a man caught his son who was (retarted?) raping a woman at work, the father had his son castrated. When Dr. Newcomb heard this, he gulped. All men are taken aback. This is such a violation of manhood. But from another point of view, if the gun is loaded to abuse and violate a woman or a man, take away the loaded gun! Especially in a proven case, the punishment, the consequence of castration, makes sense for the crime.
Want stricter gun laws? How about stricter accountability for rape. Rape conviction should require castration. The DNA of a rapist should never be allowed to be passed on to descending generations. It is getting a "high" out of feeling the power of raw violence against another, and all emotion embeds into the DNA. What is recorded in the DNA is suppose to be passed on to future generations as wisdom learned, called evolution, but with the violence creeping into our society, we ought to draw the line. If women were in charge, it would be easy because it is so logical. It's not revenge, it just makes sense. Take away the loaded gun and don't pass on the DNA of violence. Period.
But will the Senate ever make progress moving rape investigation and prosecution out of the military boys club? Women are needed in this picture. Most men will never be even-handed about rape.
