There are differences between Republican't and Democratic presidents. Obama being just as bad as Bush is just incorrect. Don't expect any Democrat to come in and act as a champion for the people, it'll never happen. Yes Obama is too willing to compromise with the right, but fact of the matter is, the Bush administration was jettisoning jobs overseas, ramping up military efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan and began pushing for a war with Iran. I have little doubt that if McSane got in he would be pushing for spreading the conflict into that country.
Equating Obama with the extreme right wing is just ridiculous. No he's no Rosevelt or Truman, but he's not Bush either.

THOM!!!! I have been beating this drum since before Senator Obama was publicized as considering whether to run for President . . . His Senate voting record placed him along side of such luminaries as Joseph Lieberman and Blanche Lincoln. He has never been anything but a mediocre, wishy-washy, right-of-the-center-of-the-road, pro-corporatist and now he is yesterday's flavor of the month.
Like all good DLC pukes, President Obama is stooped over, thanking his beaters for the last blow and begging for the next.

God Is Involved
I have tried to delay this comment. This comment brought me an internal conflict that is similar to an old fashion alley mugging. The words in my comment have preyed on my body, mind, and soul. I am revealing these words because I believe passionately in what I will say to you. I have tried to share information that would call Americans to move in the direction of God and for our repentance. We, as Americans, have chosen not to repent and so here is my comment, a dire and sad comment.
We will need to know how God deals with the world. He is intimately involved with every single activity in the world. God knows every reality that exists within His mysterious reality that every being is sustained by Him. Whether we like it or not, God is involved in every famine and harvest. Whether we think about it or not, God is part of every virtuous act and dastardly deed. Whether we like it or not, the history of the world, the story of our life, and the activity of God are intertwined together, world without end. God is involved in every peaceful mission and in every war.
America has turned her back on God; America has killed God’s children; America has followed false prophets like Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, and Obama; and America will always remain greedy, selfish and self-centered. America is also the most evil, vile, and wicked nation on planet, Earth. What is happening in America and in our world reminds me of the story of Job.
In the Bible there is in the Old Testament, the Book of Job. Job lived about 500 or 600 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. It was also around the time that God was not pleased with His people. God has given everything to the people and they were not listening to Him. They were not willing to help one another and their lives were very sinful. God was going to destroy the earth.
For some reason God was going to give the world another chance. He was going to test the world with one person and that person was Job. Job was a man of prayer and he would also praise God. God blessed Job with wealth, land, property, and family. God slowly started to take away what He had given to Job. Job still prayed and praised God. A neighbor came by one day and he talked to Job. He said to Job that God was punishing him and Job still prayed and praised God. How could Job continue to love God? Job said to his neighbor that it was God’s will and God knows best.
God was so moved by Job’s words and loyalty that He spared the earth from destruction. Job’s behavior silenced God. God would speak only one more time. God spoke at Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan River. “This is my son in whom I am well pleased.”
From Jesus’ death to the present we keep hearing that God works in mysterious ways. With God there are no surprises. No, God does not work in mysterious ways. He has given us His son and the words of Jesus. Our problem is that we refuse to listen to God’s son and His words. God has been testing the world through the United States of Mortal Sin. God has not chosen a person; He has chosen a country. The United States of Mortal Sin is now the Job of the New Testament.
Job, the country, has failed every test. Job, the country, holds steadfastly to hatred, corruption, and lies. She has also embraced murders and war crimes. She has also turned her back on God and God’s son, Jesus. Christianity is no longer Job’s religion. Job and the country’s beauty believe that they are better than God. Like Lucifer, the most beautiful of God’s angels, Job believes that God is not needed and the axis of evil is better than God. Job’s axis of evil clings to money, nuclear weapons, and false prophets and their words.
Job, the country, will also bring down the rest of world and its population. Job has failed God and her destruction and the world’s destruction are imminent.
We must never forget that the pain and suffering upon our nation will be endless because Americans refuse to repent. Yes, it is God’s will because He knows best. God is involved in every activity and aspect of our life from our joys and to our miseries. The slaughter of the Democrats by the fascist-Nazi Party, aka the GOP, was God’s will and He knows best. The domination of the United States Supreme Court over ninety percent of Americans is God’s will and He knows best. The enslavement of ninety percent of the people by ten percent of the American rich and American corporations is God’s will and He knows best. You must never forget that GOD IS INVOLVED.

CAN ONE BE A CHRISTIAN AND A CONSERVATIVE AT THE SAME TIME?
Two Thousand years ago in the midst of the Conservative, Militantly, Bellicose, Roman Empire and the parallel Rule of the Ultraconservative Conservative Herodian Kings and Priests, where the death penalty was a broadly used as it has been in Texas and Florida since the Bush advent therein, there came a man who opposed all of that for which they stood. He opposed the death penalty and much forgiving of sexual sins. (The woman caught in adultery John 8:1-11)
He despised greed/avarice which the Bushites Gekko say is Good!. Luke 16:19-31 The avaricious rich man
He opposed violence of any sort; he was by his own admission, "meek and mild." He advocated tolerance and acceptance of others. He offered free health care to any who approached him.
He also refused to condemn or judge others except for the rich who were avaricious and the hypocrites. He opposed judging others, a prime factor in the Bush administration IS judging others Luke 7: 37-42- judging others
He was dismissive of sexuality as a major judgmental concern. Luke 4:4-42 Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well
Jesus was, by the definitions, condemnation and attacks on Liberals by the Bushites and the "Christian" Right, a "bleeding Heart Liberal." They are indeed correct, because in his opposition to everything for which The Conservative Roman Empire and the Ultraconservative Conservative Herodian Kings and Priests, stood Jesus was and remains a Liberal. There is no way the Church can, without being hypocritical wriggle its way around the reality that one cannot be a Christian and a Conservative, any more than one can be a Christian and support the slaughter in Iraq (A nation 12 times smaller than the USA, and lacking air force and navy at the time of the invasion), and the planned slaughters in Iran, and Venezuela.
Therefore, begs the question, CAN A PERSON BE BOTH A CHRISTIAN AND A CONSERVATIVE?

S.A.F.E.R. Save America From Economic Royalists. We've got to get some movement going. It's just getting ridiculous. Just one name I came up with. Another was C.A.C.C.A, Citizens Against Corporate Control of America. Kind of spells out what we've been getting from them for years. Then there's F.U.C.C.U.S, Fighting Unregulated (Unbridled) Corporate Control of the U.S. Kind of spells out what they've been doing to us. Or we could leave off the last S, and that could be our response to them.
I still say there's a push to get Palin elected in 2012. She was picked for her pro oil and gas, and anti global warming views in 2008. She quit Alaska to avoid having her negatives go higher in her home state, and to give her behind the scenes backers a chance to invent her and promote her. The reality show, job on Fox, book tour, and even her daughter on Dancing with the Stars is all part of it. We can't underestimate the ability of those backing, like maybe the Koch brother, to promote her. They sold the country on Bush and Cheney. Her election really scares me because it would mean a lot of things, but most importantly, a return to the pro fossil fuel course for this country, and an end to any initiatives for cleaner energy. At a time when all signs are indicating we're in a load of trouble climate and environment wise.

Ha!ha!ha!...well welcome Thom Hartman to Pablito's side....I hate to say it but I told you so,Obama was not a progressive...He is a conservative corporatist......He chose the Democratic party for membership as almost everyone knows his skin color was a barrier to the highest office in the land as a member of the GOP.
This guy ,Obama is just as horrible as Bush.
Look,quit telling your listeners that it's good to have a Democratic Prez for the sake of the Supreme Court....It makes no difference when that Prez nominates Corporatist jurists.
