The bad! Roger Ailes. The story around the disgraced chief of Fox News just keeps getting worse. Gabriel Sherman wrote a piece on Sunday in New York Magazine called "Roger Ailes Used Fox News Budget to Finance 'Black Room' Campaigns Against His enemies.” Sherman outlines allegations that one of Ailes' consultants worked on a project started in 2011 that spied on people he wanted to target - both inside and outside of Fox News - attacking journalists like Joe Lindsley - who edite Ailes's local newspaper - and even Sherman himself. If this is true - this is really bad - and just another example of how men like Ailes use power and money to intimidate anyone who attempts to criticize them or hold them to account.

Congresswoman Karen Bass has started a petition using the hashtag #DiagnoseTrump to have Donald Trump undergo a mental health evaluation. Bass - who was a physician assistant and a clinical instructor before she entered politics - writes in the change.org petition that “Donald Trump is dangerous for our country. His impulsiveness and lack of control over his own emotions are of concern. It is out patriotic duty to raise the question of his mental stability to be the commander in chief and leader of the free world.” And based on what we’ve seen this week - isn't it pretty clear that Congresswoman Bass has a legitimate concern?
