And while that might sound downright polar to many people living in more temperate climes - it's unseasonably warm for the arctic. In fact - it's about 50 degrees above average. Imagine it being about 95 degrees fahrenheit somewhere along the northeast seaboard tonight - that's how crazy warm it was in the arctic last week. So what in the heck is going on? On why is this very very scary news?
