Senate Republicans unanimously agreed at a closed-door meeting of the Judiciary Committee today not to hold any hearings for President Obama's pick replace late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. They want to wait until the next president takes office 11 months from now to consider a nominee. This - of course - flies in the face of the will of the American people - who elected Barack Obama to a full four-year term - and the teachings of Saint Ronnie of the Church of Republicanism - who thought it was totally acceptable to appoint a supreme court justice in his final year in office.
