But here's the thing - contrary to what you might hear on the right-wing media - fighting global warming and transitioning to renewable energy isn't bad for the economy. Far from it. According to a new report from the Labor Network for Sustainability - 350.org - and Synapse Energy Economics - fighting global warming and moving towards a renewable energy sector would actually be good for the economy. And I mean really good. The group has put together a plan that it says will reduce greenhouse gasses by 80 percent by 2050 and create 500,000 jobs every year. But is this plan enough to hold off total climate devastation?
